OVERWHELMING PARTICIPATION IN THE 6TH MARATHON ORGANIZED BY THE JAKHAR TRUST

Over 10 thousand runners participated in the 6th Marathon organized by the Jakhar Trust on Sunday. MLA Sandeep Jakhar flagged off the race and also participated in the 10-km run.

The marathon included 5, 10, and 21-km races, with children, youth, senior citizens, and women participating, making it a historic event. The marathon started from Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk, passed through Hanumangarh Road and the bypass, and ended at Abha Stadium. The Trust also provided refreshments and medals to participants in the marathon besides T-Shirts. Jakhar Trust chief trustee Jaiveer Jakhar and his wife Rudrashree Jakhar, were especially present. Rudrashree presented medals to the winners who were awarded in total Rs 1.70 lakh prizes.

In the men's 21-km race, Sandeep Kumar came first, Khadim Ahmed second, and Sunil Kumar third. In the women's 21-km race, Anjali Patidar came first, Himanshu second, and Poonam third. In the men's 10-km race, Mohan came first, Pawan Samaria second, and Deepak Bishnoi third. In the women's 10-km race, Kaifi came first, Gayatri second, and Karamjit Kaur third. In the men's 5-km race, Deepak Kumar came first, Rahul second, and Prabhkirat Singh third. In the women's 5-km race, Nainshikha came first, Himanshi second, and Maya third.
