The project of students from LRS DAV School has been selected for national level competition, securing first place in the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition held in Amritsar.

Four students from the school—Dipanshu, Akshay, Prerna, and Harshita—participated. Assistant Librarian Ramesh Kumar and Preeti Kalra also represented the school. This year, seven sub-themes were designated for the exhibition, of which the school participated in Sustainable Agriculture (Senior Category) and Emerging Technologies (Senior Category).

A total of 120 models from various schools across the Punjab region were presented at the event. The model from LRS DAV School, Abohar, was declared the best. The students were awarded trophies and certificates. The project was created under the leadership of Monica Singh.

On the team's achievement, Principal Smita Sharma congratulated the children, their parents and the science department of the school. She said that children are given opportunities repeatedly so that they can make new discoveries and, on this basis, curiosity and interest towards science is generated in their minds.
