In a program held at Brahma Kumaris’ Darjeeling Center, BK Shantanu Bhai, National Media Wing Coordinator of the organisation, said that journalism should be impartial, honest, transparent, and service-oriented. Media remains an important medium for social service, even though commercialism has increased, but journalists must continue to fulfill their positive responsibilities. Media workers should not only highlight problems but also suggest solutions. The current times demand that media be made solution-oriented, so that positive change can be brought about in society.

He further stated that India is a spiritually oriented country. Incorporating spirituality into journalism can further strengthen it.

In the presence of BK Shantanu, important discussions were held on the Center's various service activities, measures to increase spiritual consciousness in society, and the role of media service.

BK Muna Didi, Center Head, Darjeeling, provided information about ongoing services and upcoming plans. The program was organized and conducted by BK Raj Bhai, featuring participation from various media personnel from Darjeeling, where everyone received inspiring messages related to spiritual knowledge, meditation, self-empowerment, and positive lifestyle.
