CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATED AT BSKC WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOUR

The Constitution Day of India, also known as Samvidhan Diwas, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Bhag Singh Khalsa College for Women, Kala Tibba, Abohar. The event was organised under the guidance of Chairman Gurlal Singh Fattanwala, by the Legal Literacy Cell of the college.

Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur Aulakh, Coordinator Dr. Sanju Bajaj, Co-Coordinator Amrinder Singh Sandhu and member Jyoti Taneja were present.

Keynote Speaker Advocate Nidhi Beri highlighted the historical significance of Constitution Day, fundamental rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution, importance of constitutional values and role of youth in upholding democratic principles.

Several students delivered impactful speeches focusing on: The importance of constitutional values in everyday life, relevance of the Constitution in ensuring justice and equality, vision of the founding fathers, especially Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and need to protect democratic institutions.

The students’ presentations reflected their awareness, enthusiasm, and commitment toward responsible citizenship.
