A team from the Blood Bank, GMSH Sector 16, led by Dr. Simarjeet Kaur Gill, collected 50 units of blood.

Rishi Saral Vishvas, Joint Secretary of the Vishvas Foundation, stated that the camp was inaugurated by lighting a lamp and presenting badges to the blood donors by Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President of the Vishvas Foundation and Kuljit Singh Randhawa, MLA from Zirakpur. All the blood donors were also presented with certificates and gifts by the chief guest.

On this occasion, Gurunanak Market's Vyapar Mandal President Manish Gupta, Atul, Neha, Montu, Sanjay and from Vishvas Foundation Rishi Shashwat Vishvas, Shyam Sundar Sahni, Savita Sahni, Manohar Lal Chugh, Usha Rani, Bharat Bhushan Nayyar, Promila Sood was present.

Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President of Vishvas Foundation, said that there is a misconception among people that donating blood causes weakness in the body.
