CSA TO ORGANIZE AN INTERNATIONAL POETRY FESTIVAL ON DECEMBER 4

The Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi (CSA) is going to organize an International Poetry Festival on December 4 at the UT Guest House. The Academy’s Vice Chairman, Dr. Anish Garg, stated that it is a matter of great joy for the literature lovers of Chandigarh that, under the guidance of the Academy’s Chairman Dr. Manmohan Singh, internationally renowned poets will be presenting their work.

The event will be presided over by Dr. Madhav Kaushik, President of the Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi. The Chief Guest of the programme will be Sumita Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana, and the Guest of Honour will be Prof. Yojna Rawat from Punjabi University.

Poets from France, the Netherlands, Tibet, Kochi, Shillong, and Kolkata will be participating in this festival. The Academy’s Secretary, Mr. Subhash Bhaskar, informed that the entry to the event will remain free.
