GD GOENKA TODDLER HOUSE CELEBRATES ANNUAL FUNCTION SHOWCASING INDIA’S JOURNEY FROM TRADITION TO MODERNITY

GD Goenka Toddler House, Zirakpur celebrated its 5th Annual Function with great pride and enthusiasm on at the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Sector 26, Chandigarh. The event reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing cultural roots while embracing modern values.

This year’s theme, “Bharat – Parampara se Adhunikta Tak,” highlighted India’s rich heritage and its graceful evolution into a progressive nation. The celebration beautifully blended tradition with contemporary learning, creating a memorable and enriching experience for all in attendance.

The young learners of GD Goenka Toddler House enthralled the audience with captivating performances that paid tribute to India’s timeless cultural legacy. The program featured presentations on the different Yugas, Vedas, diverse communities, folk dances, seasons, and Shakti, symbolising Bharat’s inherent strength and spirit of defence. Each act gracefully portrayed India’s history, wisdom, and the profound contributions the nation has offered to the world.

The function concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the efforts, achievements, and dedication of the students.

Addressing the gathering, Ms. Samrridhi, Director of the school, shared an inspiring message. She emphasized, “As parents and educators, it is our duty to pass this treasure to our children not just in books, but in the way they live, speak, and feel. Here, at our school, we make sure that every child experiences our culture through festivals, stories, songs, and simple everyday habits. When children respect their own culture, they naturally learn to respect all cultures. This builds acceptance, empathy, and kindness.” She also extended heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated school staff for their unwavering efforts in making the event a grand success.

The event served as a heartfelt reminder of the importance of preserving cultural values while guiding children towards a bright, confident, and modern future.
