DAV-8 PANCHKULA CONDUCTS “NO DRUG NATION” CAMPAIGN IN PANCHKULA

With the objective of building a drug-free society, DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Sector-8, Panchkula, under the inspirational leadership of Arya Yuva Samaj President Shri Yogi Suri, organized a large-scale awareness campaign titled “No Drug Nation” at MC Park, Sector-20, one of the most densely populated areas of the city. Students, teachers, community members and distinguished guests participated enthusiastically in the initiative.

100-Kund Yajna Marks Spiritual Beginning : The campaign commenced with a grand 100-Kund Yajna, symbolizing collective spiritual commitment towards a drug-free nation. The ceremony was graced by the School Manager, Mrs. Jaskaran Harika, as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Yoginder Kawatra, Vice President, RWA & office bearer of  Arya Samaj, Sector-20, Panchkula and –  Councillor Mr. Gursewak Singh was the Special Guest.

More than 100 students and nearly 80 teachers participated in the Yajna with devotion and discipline, spreading a strong message of social responsibility and national welfare.

Mass Pledge for a Drug-Free India : A powerful oath-taking ceremony was conducted in the presence of the dignitaries, where students, staff and citizens collectively pledged to stay away from drugs and to motivate others to follow a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle.

Signature Campaign Receives Massive Support : A special signature board was installed at the venue where nearly 250 people, including residents, school staff, students and visitors, signed in support of the “No Drug Nation” mission, reflecting strong public participation and commitment.

Students Spread Awareness Through Street Play : Students of DAV-8 performed a compelling street play (Nukkad Natak) highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the vital role of youth in combating the menace. The performance received wide appreciation from the audience.

Creative Outreach Through Poster-Making : Students actively participated in a poster-making activity, creating impactful posters and slogans advocating drug-free living. Their creativity added further strength to the campaign’s message.

Awareness Rally Connects with the Community : Led by Shri Yogi Suri, an energetic awareness rally was taken out by DAV-8 students in Sector-20. Pamphlets were distributed and residents were sensitized about the dangers of drug abuse. Being the city’s most populated sector, the rally received overwhelming response and appreciation from the public.

A Strong Call for a Drug-Free India : The one-day campaign emerged as a powerful movement driven by awareness, discipline and national responsibility. Under the visionary guidance of Shri Yogi Suri and the dedicated efforts of DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Sector-8, Panchkula, the mission of a Drug-Free India was strongly reinforced through Yajna, pledge-taking, signature drive, street play, poster-making and awareness rally.
