350 EX-SERVICEMEN, 16 MARTYR FAMILIES OF PUNJAB HONORED

Akhil Bhartiya Aggarwal Sammelan, Punjab organized Ex-Servicemen Felicitation Ceremony at Red Cross Bhawan, Jalandhar commemorating the Vijay Diwas. 

Among the distinguished guests were Punjab Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat, Lovely Professional University Chairman Ramesh Mittal, Vice Chairman Naresh Mittal, Jalandhar Mayor Vineet Dhir, AAP Halqa Incharge Nitin Kohli. 

Minister Mohinder Bhagat said that the soldiers of Punjab are the backbone of the nation. India's borders are safe today because our brave soldiers stand firm in every situation. Be it duty on snow-covered hills or in the scorching sands of the desert, be it the fight against terrorism or the internal security of the country, the soldiers of Punjab face every challenge with bravery, discipline and patriotism. 

State President Surendra Aggarwal said that the land of Punjab has given such courageous sons to the country in every war, due to whose valour India has always stood tall. The 350 ex-servicemen and 16 martyr families honored are the greatest asset of our nation. 

Mayor Vineet Dhir said that it is our privilege and pride to honor the martyr families. Lovely Professional University Director Girish Bhatt and Parvjyot Kaur organized a patriotic program.
