As per the directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Ms. K. M. Priyanka, W/SP/City, Chandigarh, and under the supervision of Sh. Anurag Daru, ASP/South, a team of officials from Police Station Maloya, Chandigarh, headed by Insp. Jasbir Singh, SHO, PS Maloya, achieved major success by detaining the accused, namely Gagan @ Gogi, S/o Late Sh. Ram Parsad, R/o House No. 91, DMC, Chandigarh.
The detainee was detained under the PITNDPS Act, 1988, on the basis of detention orders issued by the Hon’ble Home Department, Chandigarh Administration, vide Order Nos. 2284242-HII(2)-2025/ 6326, 2284242-HII(2)-2025/6327, and 2284242- HII(2)- 2025/6324, all dated 01.12.2025.After detention, the grounds were explained to Gagan @ Gogi, and he was sent to judicial custody at Burail Jail, Chandigarh.
Grounds of detention: – Accused Gagan @ Gogi S/O Late Sh. Ram Parsad R/O# 91, DMC Chandigarh is a habitual criminal. He is involved in many criminal cases.
