MoU RENEWED BETWEEN CRPF AND CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY

(MOREPIC1)Face2News/Chandigarh:

Through the efforts of Mr. Vishal Kandwal, Commandant, 5 Signal Battalion, CRPF, a much-awaited Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) had been signed one year ago between the Commandant, 5 Signal Battalion, CRPF and Chandigarh University, under the aegis of the Regional Kava Welfare Committee, CRPF Campus, Hallo Majra.

To continue this MoU in the future, a renewed Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between the Commandant, 5 Signal Battalion, CRPF and representatives of Chandigarh University—Mr. Satbir Singh Sehgal, Registrar, and Mr. Deepak Puri, Admission Area Manager.

Under this agreement, children of CRPF martyrs, disabled personnel, gallantry medal recipients, serving personnel, as well as retired personnel will receive benefits in the field of higher and professional education.

As per the MoU, Chandigarh University has reserved approximately 1,000 seats for the children of CRPF personnel across various academic streams, including Engineering & Technology, Law, Liberal Arts & Humanities, Sciences & Health Sciences, and Tourism & Hospitality. These seats will be allotted with substantial concessions/scholarships ranging from 50 percent to 100 percent, depending on the course.
