POLICE SEIZE TIPPER AND TRACTOR-TROLLEY LOADED WITH ILLEGAL MINING MATERIAL IN PINJORE

Panchkula Police are continuously carrying out strict action to curb illegal mining in the district. With the objective of maintaining law and order and preventing the illegal exploitation of natural resources, various police teams are conducting regular patrols and surveillance. As part of this drive, Pinjore Police apprehended two vehicles involved in illegal mining activities.
Under the leadership of Pinjore Police Station In-charge Inspector Bachchu Singh, a police team intercepted an illegal tipper loaded with illegally mined material near village Basola at around 1:00 pm on December 28 during routine patrolling. Later the same day, at around 3:00 pm, a tractor-trolley carrying illegal mining material was also seized near village Vasudevpura. Further action was initiated by informing the Mining Department, following which the concerned vehicles were seized.
DCP Panchkula, Srishti Gupta, stated that a zero-tolerance policy has been adopted against illegal mining in the district, and such vehicles are being regularly apprehended. She clarified that in all such cases, the Mining Department is immediately informed to ensure strict action as per rules. The DCP further added that police personnel and Anti-Illegal Mining Teams have been deployed in all mining zones of the district, and continuous monitoring is also being carried out through surveillance cameras.
