Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

A young leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today. Mohit “Mannu” was formally inducted into the party by senior leaders in the presence of MLA Sandeep Jakhar.

Mohit Mannu said that he had been associated with the Aam Aadmi Party for a long time and had become actively involved in politics after being impressed by some of the work done by the party while he was living in Delhi. Over time, he became dissatisfied with the party's policies and working style. He was greatly impressed by the working style of local MLA Sandeep Jakhar, which led him to decide to join the BJP.

Sandeep Jakhar said that whenever development work has taken place in Abohar, the Jakhar family has played a decisive role. He claimed that in the upcoming municipal corporation elections, the BJP will form the board with a complete majority and will give a new direction to the overall development of the city.

He targeted the Aam Aadmi Party leadership, saying that no significant development work has taken place in Abohar in the last four and a half years. AAP failed to live up to the expectations of the people.

Present on the occasion were Ramesh Gandhi, Deepak Chhapola, Mehar Chand Taneja, Mangat Rai Bathla, Prem Chugh, Chander Kanta, Neelam Sehgal, Vijay Chhabra.
