“Baalman Ke Geet” (Songs of a Child's Heart), written by Alka Satija, HoD Hindi in L.R.S. D.A.V. Senior Secondary Model School, Abohar, was released by Principal, Smita Sharma in the presence of teachers.

Principal Smita Sharma congratulated the author on this significant literary achievement, stating that her six previously published books have been extremely popular among children, and this new book, too, has been written in the form of simple, sweet, and educational poems, keeping in mind the psychological level of children. The poems compiled in this book will help in increasing children's interest in language, expanding their vocabulary, and contributing to their overall development.

She also said that Alka Satija's dedication to children's literature is commendable, as she has worked with children for many years, deeply understanding their minds, language, and imaginations, and has continuously strived to make learning enjoyable through songs, stories, and activities.

Notably, Alka Satija was last year honoured at the centenary celebrations of Swami Keshwanand Sahitya Sadan for her distinguished contribution to Hindi poetry.
