HIMACHAL ACCIDENTS: 12 DIES , CM EXPRESS DEEP SORROW OVER LOSS OF LIVES IN SIRMAUR DISTT.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in a tragic private bus accident near Haripurdhar in Sirmaur district.  

The private bus (Jeet Coach) was on its way from Shimla to Kupvi when it went out of control around 100 metres before Haripurdhar and plunged into a gorge nearly 100 metres deep. According to preliminary information, 45 passengers were travelling in the bus. Twelve passengers died on the spot, while 33 seriously injured persons have been referred to IGMC Shimla for specialized treatment.

The Chief Minister has directed the district administration to extend all possible assistance to the families of the deceased and to ensure the best medical facilities for the injured.

He prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
