SC COMMISSION SUMMONS DDPO JALANDHAR SEWAGE WATER LOGGING PROBLEM INPHILLAUR

Chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, S Jasvir Singh Garhi, has taken suo motu notice of a news report regarding the problem of sewage not being properly drained in the residential area inhabited by members of the Scheduled Castes community in village Nagar, falling under the Phillaur constituency. Following this, he has summoned the District Development and Panchayat Officer (DDPO), Jalandhar. 

Giving this information, S. Jasvir Singh Garhi, Chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, said that the matter came to his attention through a newspaper report.

He informed that in this regard, District Development and Panchayat Officer Jalandhar, Gurdarshan Singh Kundal, has been summoned on January 14, 2026.
