GCCBA COMMEMORATES 77TH REPUBLIC DAY WITH ENTHUSIASM AND NATIONAL SPIRIT

Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector 50, Chandigarh, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm, dignity, and patriotic spirit. The celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal, in the esteemed presence of Dean Dr. Sangam Kapoor, Vice-Principal Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal, faculty members, and nearly 80 students.

The event featured a vibrant cultural programme comprising patriotic dances and speeches presented by students. The performances showcased India’s rich heritage, unity in diversity, and deep-rooted national values. Thoughtfully organized by the NSS Units and Cultural Committee, the programme beautifully captured the essence of patriotism and filled the atmosphere with pride and inspiration.

In her address, the Principal emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and the role of teachers in shaping responsible citizens and contributing toward the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. She also congratulated the Cultural Committee for securing prizes at the Zonal Youth Festival 2025.

Special appreciation was extended to the Electoral Literacy Club for receiving a Certificate of Appreciation and a Trophy from the Election Commission, Sector 18, Chandigarh, during the 16th National Voters’ Day celebration held at MCM DAV College, Sector 36, Chandigarh, on 25 January 2026.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets, symbolizing harmony and togetherness, followed by the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride and reverence for the nation.
