Chandigarh Sahitya Academy (CSA) organised a literary event in the memory of renowned Punjabi Writer Shiromani Sahitkar Mohan Bhandari at Rani Laxmi Bai Bhawan sector 38 Chandigarh.
Sh. Jung Bahadur Goyal was the chief guest and S. Raghbir Singh Sirjana preside over the function. Smt. Nirmala Bhandari was guest of honour and S. Avtar Singh Ptang was the key Speaker who gave a detailed note about the life and works of Mohan Bhandari.
(SUBHEAD)First of all flowers presented on photo of Mohan Bhandari. Nirmal Bhandari also shared her journey with the Writer. Dr. Manmohan Singh Chairman CSA introduced the guests and gave a brief note of the activities of the Academy.
Sh. Rajiv Bhandari and Rahul Bhandari sons of Mohan Bhandari also shared their memories with Bhandari and recited a poem written by Sanjiv Bhandari. Sh. Balijit Goverdham Gabbi Gul Chohan Raj Kumar Bhupinder Malik Advocate Manjinder Sandhu also shared their views about Mohan Bhandari. Rekha Mittal Lalita Puri Manjit Kaur Harbans Kaur Gill Surjit Suman we’re also present on the occasion. Program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anish Garg Vice Chairman CSA.
