SCHOOL PRESIDENT CELEBRATES B’DAY WITH STUDENTS

For the first time, the president of the managing committee of RSD Girls Middle School located near JP Park in Nai Abadi here celebrated his birthday in the presence of the students and staff.

Prominent social activist Naresh Khurana along with his wife Chittarlekha, an educationist, silently walked in the school premises today. He was warmly and ceremonially welcomed by the students who were delighted to see such a function full of austerity and affection. The couple distributed fruits etc to the students and wished them success in the ongoing and incoming annual exams. Khurana said that uniforms had already been distributed to the students.

Playground is being prepared to make sports a weekly feature from the next session. Headmistress Sudesh Rani thanked the Khurana couple and assured them their dreams of school upliftment would be fulfilled by promoting extra-curricular activities besides academic improvement.

Councilor Narinder Verma appreciated Khurana’s initiative and hoped others will follow this
