A district-level poster-making competition and rally were organized at DAV College under the leadership of Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan and Jaspal Singh, Assistant Director, Youth Services Department. Dr. Tarsem Sharma, coordinator of the Red Ribbon Club, highlighted the club's activities. Students from DAV College, Gopichand Arya College for Women, Bhag Singh College for Women, Maharishi Dayanand College Abohar and Jyoti B.Ed. College Fazilka participated enthusiastically in the poster-making competition.
Sameer, a student from DAV College, Abohar, secured first place, Manisha of Gopichand Arya College for Women, secured second place, and Ashwini from the same college, secured third place. The winning students were awarded prizes. Jatinder Kaur, Shinder Kaur, and Pooja Kalra served as judges. Senior most teacher Dr. Kiran Grover commended the efforts of the Red Ribbon Club.
On this occasion, Assistant Ankit Kataria, Sonu Kapila, Mamta Jangid, Dr. Anupal, Kanwalpreet Kaur, Dr. Maninder Singh, Ajay Kumar, Sona Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Shiva were present.
