JAKHAR TRUST HONOURS WOMEN FOR EXEMPLARY WORK

The Jakhar Trust celebrated the 5th annual International Women's Day at Nehru Park. MLA Sandeep Jakhar attended this prestigious occasion as the chief guest.

The program aimed to celebrate the unwavering courage of women, their achievements, and their contribution to building society. A large number of women from the city participated in the celebration. During the event, women who have made their mark in various fields were honored. Keeping safety and convenience in mind, the administration had made elaborate parking arrangements in the nearby school grounds.

MLA Sandeep Jakhar said, “Today is not just a celebration, but a day to honor the power without which society is unimaginable. I feel extremely proud to be present at this 5th annual celebration of International Women's Day.

Our mothers, sisters, and daughters are proving their mettle in every field. The women of Abohar have always proven that if they are given the right opportunity and respect, they can reach any heights. Jakhar said that he is determined to make Abohar safer and full of opportunities for women so that they can fully showcase their talents. A Study Circle has been established by the Trust for career building and preparing for competitive exams. Abohar born women have touched heights in archery and other competitions even at international level.
