Dr. Sudarshan Miglani, who passed away Tuesday morning, has become the 9th eye donor this year.Aged about 80 years, he was son of veteran physician Dr. Kundan Lal Miglani and served as the President of Wholesale Chemists Association besides actively participating in social welfare activities.

The Miglani family was approached and inspired by Dr. Shri Ram Sarelia. This effort brightened two lives by donating eyes after death. Dr. Shri Ram Sarelia, Dr. Sabha Jeet and Dr. Kapil Chaudhary arranged eye donation.

The joint forum of social and religious organisations has expressed gratitude to the Miglani family for this noble deed. The “Netar Daan, Maha Daan” campaign has rekindled hopes among the needy people who had vision related problems. The campaign was abandoned due to the Covid pandemic a few years back, it has been revived now. Eye donor families and social activists are making the society aware by extending special support in this noble work. The society would draw inspiration from the donors’ families, volunteers said.
