CHANDIGARH PRESS CLUB SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED, VISHAL GULATI APPOINTED RETURNING OFFICER,, ELECTION ON MARCH 29

The Annual General body, which met on Sunday has fixed March 29th, 2026 (Sunday) as the polling date for electing the new office- bearers of the Chandigarh Press club for 2026-27,

Mr. Rajesh Dhall , Secretary General of the club, said, the house approved the appointment of Mr. Vishal Gulati as Returning Officer , Mr. Virendra Singh, Mr. Parvesh Kapur and Ms. Nisha Sharma, as assistant returning officers to conduct the election process.

Mr. Dhall further said, decided that all members should clear their dues (Annual Subscription, Welfare Fund and Kitchen/bar bills) by March 24, 2026, till 11:00 pm so that they can become eligible to cast their vote.The list of members who have not cleared their dues has been displayed on the Club Notice Board.

As per the practice, from March 22, 2026, onwards all eatables and drinks will be served in the club only on cash payment or through debit/credit cards and this decision will remain operative till the completion of the Election Process added Mr. Dhall.
