5 PUNJAB BN NCC ABOHAR CADETS UNDERTAKE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL VISIT

As part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Camp, cadets of 25 PUNJAB BN NCC ABOHAR undertook an educational and cultural tour to two places of historical and national importance — Gurudwara Sri Muktsar Sahib and the Fazilka Sadqi Border.

The visit was conducted under the guidance of Camp Commandant Colonel Rajeev Sirohi and Deputy Camp Commandant Colonel Gaurav Nyol, with the active support and supervision of the ANO, PI Staff and other camp staff.

At Gurudwara Sri Muktsar Sahib, the cadets learned about the rich historical and cultural heritage associated with the sacred shrine and the historic Battle of Muktsar. The cadets paid obeisance and experienced the spiritual traditions and heritage of Punjab.

The cadets later visited the Fazilka Sadqi JCP where they witnessed the beating retreat ceremony performed by BSF and Rangers of Pakistan. The high tempo drill by the BSF made the adrenaline rush in the cadets. The cadets also gained valuable knowledge about India’s border security, the role of security forces and the importance of safeguarding the nation’s borders.
