The Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has arrested an employee of Haryana Roadways, Jind for accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from a person for issuing a heavy driving license training certificate.
Bureau spokesperson said that the arrested accused has been identified as Shribhagwan posted as Nazar Branch Clerk in Haryana Roadways, Jind.
A person from Jind had lodged a complaint with the bureau that the accused had demanded money for issuing his son's heavy driving license training certificate.
(SUBHEAD)While processing the complaint, the team of Vigilance Bureau raided and caught the accused employee taking bribe of Rs. 10 thousand.
A case has been registered against the accused under the Prevention of Corruption Act at Bureau Police Station Karnal. Further investigation is ongoing on.
