Canara bank Regional office Chandigarh organized Regional Retail Carnival at Mela Ground Sector 34, Chandigarh today. The Retail Carnival witnessed players across industries which included top builders and car dealers of Tricity Chandigarh.

The Carnival is inaugurated by Ms A.Manimekhalai, Executive Director and Chief Guest of function is Shri Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary, UT Chandigarh.

The event is also graced by Shri R.P.Jaiswal, General Manager, Head Office, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, General Manager, Head office, Shri B.P.Jatav, General Manager, Circle Office, Shri Ravindra Kumar Agarwal, Assistant General Manager, Regional Office and Other dignitaries from canara bank were also present in the carnival.

The dignitaries went around interacting with the customers and visited the stalls. The retailers present at the expo displayed salient features of their products through their stalls. A total loan amount of Rs.30 Crores were sanctioned and 20 crore were disbursed.

The leads of Rs 50 crore is generated through the mela in different segments like home loans, vehicle loans, and education loans.

The bank followed all the COVID-19 precautionary norms like thermal scanning at the entrance, provision of masks and sanitization stations, strict social distancing protocol, and staggered entry.
