GLAUCOMA AWARENESS WALK BY DRISHTI EYE HOSPITAL

Drishti Eye Hospital organised Glaucoma awareness walk in Yavnika Park Panchkula as a part of international glaucoma week awareness programme. 

Dr Ashok Gupta, Director Drishti Eye Hospital, laid emphasis on early diagnosis of glaucoma to prevent irreversible blindness due to the disease. Dr Surinder Pandav, Head of Department of Ophthalmology, PGI Chandigarh and Jagdeep Dhanda, HCS, graced the occasion. 

They lauded the efforts of the hospital in creating awareness of Glaucoma, which is a serious and a largely asymptomatic eye ailment. 

Awareness brochures were distributed to the early morning walkers in the park. This was the 4th such annual walk conducted by Drishti Eye Hospital.
