IAI HOSTS HOLI 2022 WITH A BANG

(MOREPIC1)indian Association of Indianapolis Road the 2022 Holi Festival with a bang at the World Global Village, Lafayette Road here last Saturday. The turnout was encouraging.Cultural programs (dances and songs) by various groups were presented. Kids also gave thrilling performances.. DJ, food counters and vendors also added colour to the function.

The cultural programme commenced with the national anthems of India and USA. Followed by dances on popular Bollywood songs and colors will be provided.

(MOREPIC2)(MOREPIC3)(MOREPIC4)(MOREPIC5)  IMary Clark Executive Director at International Marketplace Coalition and Global Village, IAI officials, including Ravi Sajja, Shanti Karthik, Ramu Chinthala Smitha Puthenchira Thomas, Venkata Tadikonda, Rimple Bahl Patwardhan and Jasmine Singh did a good job for conducting the function smoothly.

Cricket bats were presented to the winners decided by draw.

Rajan Arora, Kushal Kant Singh, Manzil Kohli, Shaloo Munjaal, Amit Munjaal, Lakshya Arora, Rocky Singh were also present on the occasion.

There was a break for 45 minutes for lunch before the Holi, a festival of colours, started outdoors. All those present enjoyed throwing colours at each other, Even persons of other communities enjoyed the colour function.
