Galaxy Sivtek, carrying an experience of over 30 years in the screening industry, has launched a newly designed centrifugal Pneumatic Roto Sifter to enhance the screening process. Combining the best of qualities, Pneumatic Roto Sifter was launched at the 12th edition of PharmaTech Expo & LabTech Expo being held here. Company officials informed that the Sifter has proven to provide exceptional results in removing fine and minute foreign contaminants, scalping oversized particles, classifying and segregating raw materials, de-agglomerating dense lumps, and de-dusting raw materials. Moreover, it is also proficient at straining liquids that have high viscosity.
“Pneumatic Roto Sifter is highly efficient in screening materials at negative pressures of up to 14 inch or 356 mm vacuum. The fine mesh screen on the sifter provides a wide range, as the size of the holes spans from 0.6 to 10 mm. It has applications across industries such as pharmaceuticals, paints and pigments, cement industry, food and beverages, waste water and powder liquid separation,” said Mr. Mayank Patel, Senior Manager, Marketing, R&D and BD, Galaxy Sivtek.(SUBHEAD)
Reflecting further, Mr. Patel said: “Our newly developed Pneumatic Roto Sifter exceeds the limits set by its predecessors. It is proficient in de-agglomerating and screening materials in line with the help of its dilute-phase pneumatic conveying systems. This innovative approach is so efficient that it eliminates the need for cyclone separators and rotary airlocks.”
According to Vikas Sharma, Area Sales Manager, Galaxy Sivtek, “In order to make the machine more customizable for our clients, we also provide three screen options – Steel Mesh, Wedge Wire, and Perforated Plate. This fine screen meshes help them get the desired fine result and also help them to adapt the machine according to their screening requirements.”
Sharma further said that the new Roto Sifter provides higher efficiency in screening materials and accelerates the performance of entire processing system. It ensures the optimal protection of raw materials and has been certified by CGMP and the FDA, he said.
Some other key features of Pneumatic Roto Sifter include its easy toggle clamps which make it incredibly efficient and easy to change any part of the machine and calibrate it according to one’s requirements. Keeping the noise level below 75DB, Pneumatic Roto Sifter is quieter in comparison to any conventional vibro or gyro sifter.
