International Nursing Week 2022 organized by PGI Nurses Welfare Association concluded on Monday with a Walkathon from Sports Complex PGI to Sukhna Lake.
Medical staff i.e. doctors, nurses etc. are often called as God because only they have the courage and talent to save lives on earth.

The purpose of this day is to honor the nurse for her work, said Jasmine, Cultural Secretary of Janakari The Association and Hina Kumar of Nurse Aid.
Hina Kumar, President of the Association and Director of Nurse Aid, said that through today's Walkathon, a message was given to the society that the role of nursing in healthcare is the most important.
It is the nurse who is present day and night in the hospital in the service of patients untiringly, but everyone gives credit to doctors and nurses often don't get the respect and credit, though they deserve. However nursing professionals leaves no stone unturned to discharge their duties.
