A plantation drive was organised by Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India in association with the Press Club, Zirakpur. The plantation was done at park.
International and national players of Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India, who participated in the drive included Harpreet kaur, Madan lal, Ekamveer Singh, Gurpinder Kaur, Lovepreet Singh, Paramdeep Singh, Jaibir Singh, Simranjit Singh, Harmanjeet Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Suman lata sharma, Jatinder Singh, Yogesh Bajaj, Rajesh kumar, Karanveer Singh, Navpreet Singh, Harjit Singh, Manjeet Singh, Balraj Singh, Sewak Singh and Manpreet Singh.(SUBHEAD)
On this occasion, Sr Sharanjeet Singh, President of the federation, said that this is time when plantation has become necessary due to the growing menace of global warming and deteriorating condition of the environment.
Sukhwinder Saini, Chairman of the Press Club Zirakpur also emphsised the need of plantation for shade and environmental balance.
Those who were also present on the occasion included Gurpal Singh, Vicky, Maninder, Sandeep, TP Singh and Mukesh Chauhan.
