Senior Advocate of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Mr. Pankaj Bhardwaj in a media interaction st Chandigarh Press Club said, Mohali Adminidtration , has issued notice to land owners despite having  Khevatdar records and paying continuously revenue cess since 1910.

Mr. Bhardwaj further said the land owners having and possessing Jamabandi papers, but the Mohali administration under pressure of predent Govt. served notice by defying the orders of the Supreme Court.

Bhardwaj further said, we assume due to political pressure, the notices were issued, due to which the sword of losing land older than 1910 is hanging on the head of Khevatdarar land owner of Mullapur Garibdas.

Advocate Pankaj Bhardwaj said that before 1950, under the Act, any farmer who has any land record of Khevatdar, his land does not come under the purview of Shamlat and there is no question of taking possession from him.

In such a situation, Mohali Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) has issued otice due to political pressure to which only he can answer it, but if this notice is not withdrawn, then all the farmers suffering will be compelled to sit on Dharna on the spot along with the legal route. They, however writing in detail to CM and Concerned Ministry too.

Mr. Bhardwaj also told that if the Mohali Administration does not withdraw the notices,  he will be file contempt of court petition.
