Three days of celebrations marked the murti-pratishtha of the newly built traditional stone mandir around the memorial shrine where Brahmaswarup Bhagatji Maharaj’s final rites were performed on the banks of the River Malan in Mahuva.
The main events on the first two days included a mahapuja, yagna for world peace, grand nagar yatra honouring the murtis of the new mandir, assembly honouring respected sadhus and mahatmas, women’s convention, felicitation assembly, blood donation camp, traditional dances, dramas and other cultural presentations.
Vedic murti-pratishtha ceremony was performed by Pujya Doctor Swami, Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami and Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami in the presence of other senior and learned swamis, invited dignitaries and devotees.
In the murti-pratishtha assembly, sadguru and senior swamis spoke about the glory of Brahmaswarup Bhagatji Maharaj and a video on the life of Bhagatji Maharaj was shown. R.C. Makwana, Gujarat State Minister for Social justice and Empowerment, also addressed the gathering.
