The 9th edition of tricity’s biggest soccer league- 'Chandigarh Football League (CFL)' is all set to begin on June 4. The football league being organised by the Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS) will be played out at Dev Samaj College for Women, Sec 45, Chandigarh.

The league will be played under six age groups – U-7, U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15 and U-18. BBFS coaches will scout for young talented players who will get an opportunity to showcase their skills in BBFS teams to play in elite leagues.

BBFS officials are getting a good response and are expecting 500 players to become a part of the forthcoming edition.

Notably, BBFS started the 'Chandigarh Football League' in 2012 to provide a platform for kids aged 5-18 to experience a month-long competition during summer.

A renowned football academy Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS) was founded by India's longest-serving football Captain and Padma Shri awardee, Bhaichung Bhutia, and currently operates in 15 cities in India.

It’s noteworthy that over the past decade, BBFS has trained 18,000+ student-athletes in their residential and non-residential academies.
