VIGILANCE CAUGHT RED HANDED JHAJJAR WOMAN ASI ACCEPTING BRIBE OF RS 10 K

Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught a Woman Assistant Sub Inspector posted in Women Police Station, Jhajjar red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000.

spokesperson of the State Vigilance Bureau informed that she was nabbed on the complaint of Rajbir, a resident of village Koyalpur.

Accused ASI Poonam allegedly demanded money by threatening the complainant to implicate in the false rape case if he did not pay the money.(SUBHEAD)

The complainant, who did not wish to pay the bribe, brought this matter to the notice of the Vigilance Bureau. 

After verifying the complaint, Bureau team laid a trap and caught the accused ASI red-handed while accepting Rs 10,000. 

The spokesperson further added that investigation, in this case, is being done after the registration of a case against the accused under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
