Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College held its Annual Cultural Fest at Sector 32, here on Thursday. As many as 1000 people from the college community attended this mega cultural festival with fervor.
Fest showcased a kaleidoscope of cultural programmes displaying the exuberance and flair of students in various events such as solo and group singing, dance, modeling, acting performances etc.
The Modeling show was the most sought after event of the day as the crowd thronged in by the dozen to enjoy the show. The young girls and boys aspiring to become models displayed their confidence, poise, and graceful moves in their colorful attires.
Collège Principal Dr Ajay Sharma congratulated the participants for their dedicated efforts and gave away the prizes.
Prize Winners
In the acting session, Prince won the first prize in Mimicry while Rajat Verma and Sidak Bhatia won the second and third prizes respectively in Histrionics and Skit.
The first, second and third prizes in singing were awarded to the Simon Group, Sambhav Group and Suraj Gaurav Group respectively.
Miss Ishika and Mr. Hardik were awarded the coveted titles of Miss and Mr SD. Meenal was declared Miss Charming, Bhagwan Singh became Mr. Handsome while Rushali and Lakshay became Miss and Mr. Intellect.
In the fiercely competitive dance category, the Natti group was awarded first prize while the energetic Folk Mafia Group and ever-popular Flowzian Group came in second and third, respectively.
