Congress High command picks Harmohinder Singh Lucky as new President of Chandigarh Terriotorial Congress, about to dies for a bright future of UT Congress.
Mr. Subhash Chawla, recently resigned from the Presidentship. Earler Pradeep Chhabra, who was replaced by Subhash Chawla, joined Aam Admi Party (AAP).
Now the Congress high commanded expressed faith and confidence on Lucky.
All India Congress Committee General Secretary, K.G. Venugopal, in his official communication said, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi President of AICC have appointed Mr. Harmohinder Singh Lucky as President with immedidate effect.
The High Command accepting the resignation of Mr. Subhash Chawla, praised the contribution of outgoing Chawla.
In political circles speculation was made that high command will not accept the resignation of Chawla
It may also add that Lucky had lost election in recent civic elections at the hands of BJP young leader Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu.
