A case FIR No. 80 dated 18.06.2022, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, UT, Chandigarh on the complaint of Charan Singh R/o # 57, Village Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh against a lady resident of Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh, duping Rs. 95 lacs on pretext of selling house of Tribune Colony of locality.
It is alleged that complainant purchased H.No. 71, Tribune Colony, Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh from alleged lady vide agreement dated 01.01.2020.
Complainant paid whole sale amount i.e. 95,00,000/- on 22.02.2021 and alleged person executed GPA, Will, Affidavit etc. in favor of complainant after receiving final payment. Later the alleged person refused to transfer ownership to the complainant and sell the property to some other persons who forcibly entered said premises.
Investigation of the case is in progress. No arrest has been made so far.
