The staff of PS Jamia Nagar of South East District has arrested one desperate criminal Intekhab. With his arrest, one country made pistol with a live cartridge and a stolen car have been recovered from his possession. In addition to it, five cases of auto theft have also been worked out.
On 24.06.2022, HC Krishan Kumar, HC Raman and Ct Aleem were patrolling in their respective beat area. During patrolling, they received a secret piece of information that a person who has been involved in many previous criminal cases was roaming near HR Public School with a loaded country made pistol. Responding on to the secret tip received, the team laid a trap at the said location under the directions of senior officials.
After sometime, a boy was seen coming towards them. The secret informer pointed towards him and the team at once apprehended him. On cursory search, he was found carrying a country made pistol with a live cartridge. On enquiry, he was identified as Intekhab R/o Joga Bai Extn, Jamia Nagar, Delhi age 19 years. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 264/22 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Jamia Nagar and the recovered illegal weapon was seized.
Ms. Esha Pandey, IPS, DCP, said, on sustained interrogation, accused Intekhab disclosed that he used to steal motorcycles and cars from the area of PS Jamia Nagar in order to live a lavish life. He used to sell them to unknown persons at cheap prices. He confessed that he had recently stolen a Santro car from the area of PS Jamia Nagar. On his instance, that stolen car was recovered from his possession. Further, he disclosed that he had also stolen one scooty and three motorcycles from different locations in Jamia Nagar and sold them to unknown persons. Investigation of the case is under progress to recover the case property.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON: –Accused Intekhab R/o Joga Bai Extn, Jamia Nagar, Delhi age 19 years has studied up to 5th class. He has nothing to do to earn his livelihood expect stealing vehicles and committing crimes to earn quick money. He is previously involved in 04 cases of attempt to murder, Arms Act and voluntarily causing hurt.
