CLTA trainee qualifier third seed Bhicky Sagolshem of Manipur won the boys under-18 singles title LTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-7) Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girls under-12 and 18 at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.

Bhicky Sagolshem defeated his practice partner Aniruddh Sangra 6-3, 6-2. In the first set both playera played good level tennis, after 3-3 Bhicky Sagolshem broke the Aniruddh serve in the seveth game, Bhicky Sagolshem used approach into net in some important points and took next three games in a row, Finally Bhicky Sagolshem used his experience and closed the set at 6-3.

In the secpnd set Bhicky Sagolshem maintained his momentum and closed the set and match without getting much pressure.

In the girls under-18 singles final seventh seed Vanya Arora upset top seed Riya Kaushik 6-4, 6-4 in straights sets. Top seed Heet Kandhoriya overplayed Aarush Jain 6-1, 6-3 in the boys under-12 singles Final.

CLTA Executive Committee member Reet Mahinder Singh distributed the prizes.
