Prof. Sudhir Kumar, Director Research and Development inaugurated two days symposium at Golden Jubilee hall. This symposium is being organised by Panjab University and Vidya Bharti Uchch Shikshan Sansthan in association with Centre of Educational and Social Studies, Bangalore; Institute of Charted Accountants of India (ICAI): Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI); and Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management on the title 'Assimilating India Knowledge System in Commerce and Business Education:Mandate of NEP 2020.
During the Inaugural session Prof. Sudhir said that there is need to assimilate commerce and management education in Indian Knowledge System. He said that the Indian system is very old and we need to appreciate its importance in day to day life. He emphasised on the usage of own mother language. He quoted some references and informed that the word commerce and management are very new whereas our knowledge system is very old.
At this occasion Prof. R K gupta, Vice Chancellor Maharaja Agrasen University;Prof Anju Suri, Dean CDC, Mr Manish Gupta from ICSI; Ms Vandana from ICAI also shared their views on tbe thematic area.
