A case FIR No. 118 dated 09.07.2022 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
ONE NABBED WITH 700 GRAMM CHARAS
Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested Jai Kumar (Age-53 years) R/o # 1288, Sector-52, Chandigarh and recovered 700 gm Charas from his possession near Railway road towards Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 09.07.2022. A case FIR No. 89 dated 09.07.2022 U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

District Crime Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested Deepak Mittal @ Vicky R/o # 2306GF, Sector-45, Chandigarh and recovered 33 gm Heroin from his possession near Slip road, Sector-45, Chandigarh on 09.07.2022. A case FIR No. 108 dated 09.07.2022 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
ONE ARRESTED IN THEFT CASE: Shiv Sagar R/o # 129, Anand Vihar, Baltana, Zirakpur, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that a person namely Raju @ Kallu was caught red handed while stealing 15 crates at Horse cart Parking, Grain Market, Sector 26, Chandigarh on 09.07.2022. A case FIR No. 85 U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Alleged person Raju @ Kallu R/o near Bank of Baroda, Grain Market, Sector-26, Chandigarh (Age 45 years) has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
