PELF, ABHINAV AND ARNAV WIN TT TITLES

Pelf of DAV Public school won her third title in the first Chandigarh Table Tennis Ranking Tournament at the Table Tennis Hall in Sector 50 here. Pelf won the women's singles title by defeating Teetiksha of St. Joseph's School in a neck to neck competition.

In the men's singles final, Abhinav Bailwal of AG Punjab got the better of defending champion Sunil Ahuja from AG Punjab itself in a well contested 4-2 match to clinch the title.

Before this, the under 19 singles boys and girls events were played in which Pelf of DAV Public School again reigned supreme by winning against Cherrish of Delhi Public School in three straight sets in the girls category. In the Under 19 boys singles final, Arnav of Gurukul Global school won against Samarth from the same school in a tough 3-2 match.

The final matches were followed by the prize distribution ceremony and the prizes were distributed by Chandigarh Administration Chief Engineer Mr CB Ohja.
