In another breakthrough the following accused has been arrested by Police Station Cyber Crime, Sec.17, Chandigarh under the leadership of Inspector Hari Om Sharma, Chandigarh and overall supervision of Smt. RashmiSharma Yadav DSP/PS-CC& IT, UT, Chandigarh.

The accused identified as Naresh Kumar S/o Sh Mahender Pal R/o Flat No. 51, Maa Shimla Home 01, Deshsu Majra, Kharar, Mohali, Punjab Age 35, FIR No. 01 dated 24.06.2022 U/s 420, 120B IPC & 66D IT ACT of PS Cyber Crime,
Above said case was registered on the complaint of Sejal Dhanta resident of Chandigarh, in which complainant reported that she received a call from mobile number 9780034839 of job offer by Mahindra and said it was last day and she was shortlisted.
She was in urgent need of work and intership and she was told to submit her documents and 1000 Rs and INR 2000/- for the further to interview. She paid the money in trust. She was told that they are going to send a joining letter if she pays 6000 INR more. She paid total INR 8500/- to alleged persons. She had interviewed on another mobile number 9780034033.
After paying rupees no job letter was provided to her and alleged blocked her mobile number. She paid rupees through Google pay on Google pay id resouceh8@okhdfcbank-naresh kumar.
During the course of investigation, on 09.07.2022 accused Naresh Kumar S/o Sh Mahender Pal R/o Flat No. 51, Maa Shimla Home 01, Deshsu Majra,Kharar, Mohali, Punjab Age 35 has been arrested in the present case after interrogation, according to police procedure. 02 days Police custody of the accused has been obtained. Calling mobile phone has been recovered from the accused.Further, the investigation of the said case is going on.
