TRIBUTE PAIDTO SHUBHDEEP SINGH ALIAS SIDHU MUSEWALA AND APPEAL TO PUNJAB GOVERNMENT TO CREATE A CONDUCIVE ENVIRONMENT, SEEK JUSTICE FOR FAMILY OF MOOSEWALA

A general meeting of Punjabi Film and TV Artistes Association (Regd.) was convened on Tuesday in which artists and technicians associated with Punjabi cinema participated. At the beginning of the session, a two-minute silence was observed under the chairmanship of the society's president Gurpreet Ghuggi, paying tribute to Shubhdeep Singh alias Sidhu Musewala.
On this occasion, the organization's president Gurpreet Ghuggi said that our real family is associated with cinema. If any of these members have any problem, then the pain goes down in our hearts. The artists wrote a letter to the Punjab government urging them to provide speedy justice to the parents of Shubhdeep Singh aka Sidhu Moosewala and create a conducive environment to eradicate the despair in Punjab. Patron actor Nirmal Rishi said that Sidhu Moosewala will always live on in our hearts. All the artists observed silence and paid tribute to Sidhu Moosewala. (SUBHEAD)
In the second session of the program, General Secretary Malkit Roni read out a report on the performance of the previous team which was agreed by all with a raised hand. The office-bearers of the committee were unanimously elected as Guggu Gill as Chairman, Nirmal Rishi as Patron, Karamjit Anmol as President, Malkit Roni as General Secretary, Bharat Bhushan Verma as Cashier, Shivinder Mahal and Dev Kharod as Vice Presidents.
The rest of the executive members are Tarsem Jassar, Ranjit Bawa, Babal Rai, Gurpreet Kaur Bhangu, Rupinder Rupee, Seema Kaushal, Raj Dhaliwal, Nisha Bano, Tanvi Nagi, Dr. Ranjit Sharma, Paramjit Bhangu and Paramvir Singh. Sardar Sohi, Swaraj Sandhu, Karamjit Anmol, Gurpreet Bhangu, Pran Sabharwal, Pammi Bai, Jas Grewal and Deepak Chanarthal also addressed the program. Davinder Daman, Jagdarshan Samra, Bob Khaira, Naresh Kathuria, Pinky Sagu, Balkar Sidhu, directors Avtar Singh and Prabha Grewal and Sania Pannu were present on the occasion.
