The team of Insp Krishan Kumar, AGS, Crime Branch, has apprehended one accused namely Gaurav @Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewala s/o Shri Bhagwan r/o RZ-75A, Block-A, Dharampura, Najafgarh Age-28 years from Mullana, Ambala, Haryana on July 14.
He is source of illegal weapon used by sharpshooter Rohit @ Lamba of Ashok Pradhan gang who was recently nabbed by AGS Crime Branch on 7.07.22in case FIR No. 133/22 u/s 25 Arms Act PS Crime Branch. On instructions of Ashok Pradhan, he had provided the weapon to Rohit @ Lamba to reorganize the gang and take revenge from Neeraj Bawania gang.
During PC remand, on 15.07.22, at the instance of accused one sophisticated pistol 7.65 MM along with two live cartridges and two single shot pistols (Deshi katta) of .315 bore along with two live cartridgeswere recovered.He has been also found involved in 9 heinous cases. He is also absent history sheeter of PS Najafgarh. (SUBHEAD)
A team of AGS, Crime Branch led by Insp Krishan, comprising of SI Anuj Chikara, SI Sachin Gulia, ASI Govind, ASI Virender, HC Ravinder, HC Rahul, HC Badri Prasad, HC Hari Singh, HC Deepak, HC Narender, W/HC Bhagwanti & Ct Ashok under the close supervision of Sh. Umesh Barthwal, ACP/AGS and overall guidance of under-signed was constituted to nab the gangsters who possess illegal weapons and are actively involved in firing incidents.
Secret informers were deputed to track such gangsters. On analysing voluminous data, the accused Gaurav @ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewalawas identified. The accused Gaurav @ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewalawas changing his address and location frequently. He was evading arrest deliberately. Thus, technical surveillance was mounted, and efforts were made to trace accused Gaurav @ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewala and with the help of specialized technical investigation, Gaurav @ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewalawas traced in Mullana, Haryana.
INTERROGATION AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED: -On 16.02.2014, he along with associates Praveen Sharma and Jai Bhagwan had murdered one Rohit r/o Surakhpur, Najafgarh, Delhi. They had robbed the deceased Rohit, when he resisted, they murdered him with sticks and rods. On 05th May, 2021, he was granted parole by the Hon’ble Court in that case FIR No 80/14 u/s 302/307/394/397/411/332/ 323/304/34 IPC PS Baba Hari Dash Nagar Delhi.However, he jumped the parole and indulged in crime again. On instructions of Ashok Pradhan who is lodged in Tihar Jail, the accused Gaurav @ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewalaand Rohit @ Lamba were looking for an opportunity to take revenge from Neeraj Bawania. They were arranging logistics and also gathering their gang members for the same.
During parole, he had fired upon a furniture Store Owner in Jai Vihar, Najafgarh and in this regard, a case vide FIR No. 22/22, u/s 307/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act PS Najafgarh was registered. He is main accused in this case who had fired upon the complainant Sh. Durga Singh to extort money. He has been declared proclaimed offender in this case.
Mr. Rohit Meena, IPS, DCP, Crime-II, said after sustained specialized technical investigation and human intelligence of team of AGS Crime, the accused was nabbed from in Mullana, Haryana. The accused Gaurav @ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewalais a sharpshooter of Ashok Pradhan-Neetu Dabodia Gang and he is an associate of dreaded gangster Rohit @ Lamba. He had provided arms to Rohit Lamba on the instructions of Ashok Pradhan. The accused Gaurav@ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewalaextorts protection money from businessmen in Najafgarh area. The accused fires upon his target if someone refused to give him protection money.
RECOVERIES: During Police Remand, at the instance of accused Gaurav @ Love Sharma @ Sandeep @ Masalewala, following recoveries were affected : One sophisticated pistol 7.65 MM along with two live cartridges, Two single shot pistols (Deshi katta)of .315 bore along with two live cartridges
