GOSWAMI GANESH DUTTA SANATAN DHARMA COLLEGE ORGANISES QUILLBOT USER AWARENESS PROGRAM

The Reader’s Club of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32, Chandigarh organised a QuillBot User Awareness Program today. Mr Aman Jain, Business Development Specialist at Quillbot was the resource person for the program. The program is one among a series of endeavours undertaken by the college library and the Readers Club to highlight advanced tools for students and faculty alike.

(MOREPIC1)(MOREPIC2)    Dr Ajay Sharma, Principal of the college gave the Welcome Address and stated that the college is known for offering the most cutting edge tools and resources to its scholars and faculty. QuillBot is an AI edtech platform which has writing and research tools to assist everyone with communicating ideas and academic writing success.

Today’s session consisted of a walkthrough of productivity-enhancing tools such as Paraphraser, Plagiarism Checker, Grammar Checker, Summarizer, Citation Generator, Co-writer, to enhance one’s writing skills, whether you’re writing emails, essays, case studies, stories, thesis or blogs. Also, incorporating the best practices around academic integrity i.e. being honest, citing your sources, showing responsibility, acknowledging authors etc.

Mr Jain’s detailed presentation showcased all the features of the software. The awareness session emphasised on how to leverage AI edtech tools to become better, more confident writers. He also stated that the premium subscription of QuillBot will be available to the college this year. The presentation was followed by an interactive session.

The awareness programme was attended by students and faculty from various disciplines. Dr Pratibha Kumari, Head, Department of Hindi, presented the vote of thanks.
