The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday gave a big blow to the Punjab government as the High Court has cancelled the recruitment process of 1158 Assistant Professors of Government Colleges.

The government had decided to give five more marks for these posts only for part time, guest faculty and contract work in government colleges, which was rejected by the High Court.

Justice Mahavir Singh Sindhu pronounces these orders while giving his verdict on several petitions filed against this appointment process.
