INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATED AT HIMACHAL HIGH COURT

Independence Day was celebrated in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh today, with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Justice, A. A Sayed, followed by the National Anthem, played by Himachal Pradesh Home Guard Band.

The Chief Justice unfurled the National Flag and inspected the Guard of Honour. Judges of the High Court, Justice Vivek Singh Thaur, Justice Ajay Mohan Goel, Justice Sandeep Sharma, Justikce Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Justice Satyen Vaidya and newly designated Judges Sh. Sushil Kukreja and Sh. Virender Singh were present on the occasion.

The Chairperson, H.P. State Human Rights Commission, Justice P.S. Rana, former Judges of High Court, Justice A.K. Goel, Justice K.C.Sood, Justice Dev Darshan Sud, Justice V.K.Sharma, Advocate General, Senior Advocates, and other members of High Court Bar Association, Registrars, Judicial Officers posted at Shimla and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

The officers and officials of the High Court Registry, District Courts Shimla, Office of the Advocate General, Assistant Solicitor General of India, H.P. Judicial Academy, H.P. State Legal Services Authority, and other Offices based in High Court premises participated in the Independence Day celebrations.
