During the investigation of case FIRNo 70 dated 12.04.22 u/s 25-54-59 ArmsAct PS Sector 36 Chandigarh, accused namely Karan Sharma s/o Suresh Kumar was arrested and interrogated, who disclosed that he is associate with Kali Rajput @KaliShooter and Deepak @ Deepu Banur, who is in contact with Lawrance Bishnoi Gang and they arrange the arms and ammunition to extort the money from hoteliers and businessmen.
On this interrogation and as per the directions of senior officers, production warrant and police remand of accused Deepak @ Deepu Banur, District Patiala, PB, age 31 years, in the above said case was taken on 22.08.2022 to 25.08.2022. He has already involved around 20 heinous cases.
During police custody, Deepu Banur disclosed that his henchman namely Aman Kumar carries illegal weapon and delivers them on his instructions.
On this instance, a team under the supervision of DSP Sh.Devinder Kumar Sharma and Insp. Narinder Patial, I/C-DCC was constituted who laid a naka near Vill-Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh and nabbed the accused namely Aman Kumar S/o Dharampal R/o Vill-Khezargarh, PS-Zirakpur District Mohali (PB) Age- 22 years and recovered one country made pistolalong with two live cartridges from his possession on the naka near Vill-Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh.
In this regard case FIR No. 107 Dated 25.08.2022 U/s 25-54-59 Arms Act in PS-MJ Chandigarh has been registered. On 25.08.2022, during further interrogation and discloser accused, one more country made pistol is recovered on the instance of accused Aman Kumar. The accused namelyAman Kumar S/o Dharampal produced before the Hon’ble court and sent to judicial custody.
